The West Kootenay Community TEETH Clinic Society, located in the West Arm Plaza Mall at 632 Front St., has welcomed two new dentists and a dental hygienist to its team.
The additions allow the clinic to expand its hours, now open Mondays, Tuesdays, and most Thursdays and Fridays for dental and hygiene services, with most Wednesdays dedicated to dentures.

TEETH Clinic serves residents with lower incomes under $70,000, whether or not they have insurance.

Most services are covered under the Canada Dental Care Plan, and the clinic also accepts provincial insurance for people with disabilities, Healthy Kids, and social services programs.

Residents are encouraged to register for the Canada Dental Care Plan to access services and support the clinic’s ongoing operations. Registration is available on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community First Health Co-op resource room, 518 Lake St.
