Henry Schein to Become Exclusive U.S. Distributor of Curodont’s Drill-Free Cavity Treatment

Henry Schein Inc. will become the exclusive U.S. distributor of Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus beginning January 1, 2026, expanding its partnership with oral-health company vVARDIS. The move will give Henry Schein full distribution rights across every dental market segment in the country.

Exclusive Access Across All Dental Sectors

The agreement builds on a 2024 partnership that granted Henry Schein exclusive rights to sell Curodont to Dental Service Organizations. Under the new terms, those rights will extend to general dentists, orthodontists, and pediatric clinicians nationwide.

Stanley M. Bergman, chairman and CEO of Henry Schein, said the expanded arrangement reflects both companies’ long-term aims. “We are pleased to build upon our existing relationship with vVARDIS, the company behind a product that has seen remarkable success and growth in the dental industry,” Bergman said. He added that the deal supports their shared goal of helping dental teams work more efficiently while improving community health.

A Drill-Free Option for Early Cavities

Curodont is a minimally invasive treatment for early-stage tooth decay. It allows clinicians to treat cavities without drilling or anesthetic. Research cited in the International Journal of Epidemiology links untreated decay to increased risks of all-cause and heart disease mortality. Early-stage cavities account for as much as 80% of cases, yet many patients have historically left dental visits without treatment. The product aims to help providers close this gap by offering an alternative that is simple and patient-friendly.

Strong Growth Drives Partnership Expansion

vVARDIS leaders Drs. Haley and Goly Abivardi said the decision to expand the partnership was driven by strong interest and adoption across the U.S. “We have already accessed over 10% of U.S. dental offices and treated more than 500,000 patients,” they said. They noted that the relationship with Henry Schein has already delivered trust, shared goals, and measurable growth, making the expanded distribution a logical next step.

Henry Schein Strengthens Its Market Position

Henry Schein is already the leading U.S. seller of Curodont for general dental practices and DSOs. The company also serves as the exclusive distributor of the product in the United Kingdom and holds non-exclusive distribution rights in several other regions.

With the expanded agreement, Henry Schein aims to bring Curodont to more practices and further support the shift toward less invasive dental care nationwide.
