Pearl, a leading company in dental artificial intelligence, has announced Eugene Katz as its new Senior Vice President of Customer Success. The appointment marks a strategic step for the company, as it aims to strengthen its provider-first philosophy and ensure dental practices benefit from its AI solutions. Katz will be responsible for managing Pearl’s customer success team, focusing on helping dentists and their staff make the best use of Pearl’s technology in everyday care.
Eugene Katz brings more than ten years of experience in software customer success, having worked with major companies such as Atlassian, Okta, and Adobe. His background in building customer-focused organizations is expected to help Pearl maintain trust and satisfaction among users, while supporting practical needs in dental clinics. Founder and CEO Ophir Tanz emphasized that Katz’s approach matches Pearl’s mission of putting dental providers and their needs first, making sure AI becomes an effective and trusted part of clinical workflows.
“Eugene understands that customer success starts by prioritizing providers,” Tanz said. “Pearl’s technology is designed for dentists and their teams, ensuring that care is delivered more efficiently and reliably. As the company grows, Eugene will help keep our provider-first mentality at the heart of our work.”
Katz expressed appreciation for Pearl’s clear focus on real-world users and said his goal is to support dental teams as they integrate AI into their daily routines. He aims to build confidence among customers and provide guidance so that practices see positive outcomes and better care delivery. Pearl’s customer success plan reflects its wider belief that healthcare AI should be built on trust and usability, respecting the role of clinicians at every stage.
Since 2019, Pearl has made significant advances in dental AI, including launching the first FDA-cleared AI capable of analyzing dental X-rays and identifying diseases. The company’s AI tools help practices gather insights from radiographic and clinical data, leading to improved standards, clearer patient communication, and more informed decisions. With regulatory approval in more than 120 countries, Pearl supports dental teams globally as they work toward higher quality and trustworthy patient care.
