The National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) has launched a campaign encouraging dentists to keep abreast of dental lab regulations and legislative updates. The “What’s In Your Mouth?” campaign seeks to raise awareness of regulations, standards, safety issues, and the role that dental labs and technicians have in oral healthcare, the group said. Dental offices in the U.S. can now purchase Sunstar Americas’ bone grafting system through a network of 28 dealers. The Guidor easy-graft alloplastic bone grafting system, introduced in 2014, can be directly injected into a bone defect, according to the company. The fully resorbable bone grafting material is suitable for socket preservation after tooth extraction and implant packing. The product is available in different sizes to accommodate any extraction site.

The KontrolFlex nickel-titanium (NiTi) file is equipped with the company’s patented controlled memory technology, which strengthens the file’s properties and allows it to be precurved but highly resistant to cyclic fatigue.
