Cura Care In Talks To Raise $3 Million As Demand Grows For At-Home Dental Services In India

The Indian startup ecosystem continues to see strong activity in the pre-Series A segment, with healthcare and wellness startups drawing increasing investor interest.

Cura Care, an India-based wellness startup offering at-home dental services, is in discussions to raise around Rs 27 crore (approximately $3 million) from a mix of existing and new investors, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke to Indian Startup News (ISN).

Nearly half of the proposed funding—around $1 million—is expected to come from existing investor Zeropearl, while the remainder will be contributed by new backers, one source said on condition of anonymity as they were not authorised to speak to the media.

Founded in January 2025 by IIT Delhi alumni Abhinav Kumar and Chinmay Mittal, along with oral surgeon Dr. Paminder Singh, Cura Care aims to build a category-defining brand in India’s fast-growing wellness market, estimated at $60 billion.

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to validate product-market fit, enhance customer experience, and build a scalable foundation for long-term growth.

Cura Care offers premium dental services at home, including teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing, and whitening. These procedures are delivered by DCI-certified dentists using customized portable dental units, with a strong emphasis on hygiene, safety, and convenience for urban consumers.

Zeropearl was among Cura Care’s earliest investors, having written its first cheque around April 2025.

Commenting on the opportunity, Bipin Shah, Founder and Managing Partner at Zeropearl, said the demand for dental care is widespread, but time constraints prevent many people from seeking treatment. Cura Care, he noted, addresses this gap by delivering professional dental care directly to customers’ homes without compromising on quality.

If completed, this will mark Cura Care’s second funding round in 2025.
