Indian Army Marks Dental Services Day with Oral Health Camp for NCC Cadets at Zakhama

Zakhama, Feb 3: To mark the 85th Army Dental Corps Day, the Indian Army under the aegis of Spear Corps organized a special dental camp for NCC cadets at Zakhama Military Station.

The camp featured an oral cancer awareness lecture that educated cadets on early warning signs, preventive measures, and the importance of proper oral hygiene.

This was followed by comprehensive dental check-ups to identify potential issues at an early stage and promote long-term oral health.

Army officials said the initiative is part of the Army Dental Corps’ continued efforts to spread awareness about dental care, preventive health, and overall well-being among young people. Cadets were also encouraged to adopt healthy oral practices and serve as ambassadors of dental health awareness in their communities.

The event underscored the Indian Army’s commitment to community outreach and health education, highlighting its broader role in promoting wellness alongside operational readiness.
